So i'm re-decorating my classroom.....I've decided to go with a robot them!! This is the first one i made this morning! I think he is cute!

Pink Panther

In case you didn't know what this is...its the police coming down out of their helicopter to stop the pink panther because he is driving to fast! But i'm sure you all knew that!

Crayon Box

Several of my art projects i get from Mrs. Brown' art blog. This is one such project that i got from her...i did it a little different but it still turned out cute! We read the "Crayon Box that Talked". Its is about the different colors of a crayon box not getting along but when they work together to make a picture all the different colors see that every color has their value. Anyway, its pretty cute!

Warhol Puzzle

Today in art. I split up this picture into 9 parts!


The students then had to copy their part of the puzzle onto bigger paper and then we taped it all together...
this is what we came up with! :)

I know it hasn't been very long since i've been doing this weight watchers things...but i will tell you one thing. I feel a lot better....i have more energy....i am not tired all the time....i feel better about myself in general....its a really nice feeling and makes me want to stay with it! I'm sure if i would do some actual exercise it would be that much better :)



On another subject....i was put in charge of the art and oklahoma board for the turkish Olympiads here at school....i posted one of the pictures (the one that i expect to win). And yesterday we worked on our oklahoma board....to be quite blunt, it looks like shit! I for sure didn't do my best work on coming up with an idea......i'm not to worried about it...i did have students that helped put it together so i can make my case that way! :)

Owls....Circles...and Sharpies!

So i have started weight watchers online! I think its going to be good because i can keep track of all that i'm eating...i've done this method before and it worked pretty well. There are several teachers here at school that are also joining the online program. It is pretty funny because we are all on each others backs about what we are eating and if we have been good. Note, it has only been 2 days so hopefully it works out!


I'm enjoying taking pictures with my phone and e-mailing them to myself...and since i'm at school, i've got some more school pictures! This is what was left after the third grade class left my classroom this afternoon.

Sure does look to me like this is a crayon bucket!!

This is my biggest pet peeve!!! Its drives me nuts!

Art Contest...so my students are entering a Turkish art contest. I thought the deadline for the contest was today and when i just looked it isn't until next Friday (woohoo, because i was a little panicy!) Anyway, i had all the students bringing back their art work today and i think this one turned out really well....

This is the tree that Cindy painted of Cody and I....i love it! Cindy is so awesome!

So the 2nd grade art class was doing an under the sea art project.....as you may guess, they were drawing animals under the sea....i'll just post this one and see what you guys think it looks like. I just started laughing when i saw it!

so i have a lot of elementary school art....as many of you could probably guess. some of it is pretty funny and some of it is pretty good. most of them aren't good at all but i'm going to show anyway! here are some self portraits from one of the kindergarten classes. :)
