work: yesterday i about had a breakdown. i went to the school, and my room was the catch all room for the painters....so it was a disaster! i was about to walk out of the school, because there was really nothing more for me to do...and i met some of my fellow teachers. they were nice...but all three of them had cars full of stuff so i helped them move it all in. then i realized, i have NOTHING!! thats when the panic set in! now i realize, i'm a music teacher and music teachers tend to leave the stuff the school bought at the school and i haven't taught in 2 years and at that time i taught strings, not general music. so i was still in a panic and decided to go see what lakeshore had in the way of music things for bulletin boards and decorations! NOTHING...they had nothing! so i truck it over to mardels.....who has a quarter or a section of music decorations and really nothing i could use!!!!! this was even more frustrating. its a good thing i'm creative and have awesome friends who can help with figure out how to accomplish my ideas....hopefully on monday i will have a pictures to show you of what we are about to do to my classroom!

this morning i was a little on the nervous side. i'm sure most people are when they are starting a new job...but it went well (other than being a little boring)!! i think it is going to be a great year...and from what i can tell of the staff they are going to be awesome too. i think it will also be fun to have such a small school and a smaller group of teacher and administration to get to know!
so i will keep you all informed on how things are going!

for now...more wedding pictures! :)

We ordered them from Converse.com....you can make your own. So we created matching shoes for the wedding. It was fun!
