So, i just found out that all the sick leave i have does nothing after i leave...so i may just have to use it! :)

So...our honeymoon was awesome. We only had one snag and a couple of little hiccups! :) Our one snag was the day we left...we got to the airport an hour before and our flight had been cancelled...they only had ONE person re-routing the entire plane so we missed our second flight. Finally we got to the counter and they moved us over to Continental...and everything was fine from there, we just got to NY a couple of hours later than originally planned.

Our major hiccup was when we were on the subway. Cody knew are exit and we were talking. We were stopped and about the time the doors were closing, Cody ask..."where are we"...i tell him "34th street". He then proceeded to run off the subways saying this is our stop...by that time the door were pretty much closed and he was trying to stick his hand in the door to make it open...subway doors don't do that. FYI, he got his hand out in time and it is still intact! :) So i get off at the next stop....and get out of underground to give Cody a call...thinking that he would have done the same thing. But no....i tried calling 5 times and finally just decided to walk back to the hotel. About the time that i get there he calls and says that he was waiting for me to come back around.....and so we met at the hotel.

We had so much fun though, we went to the museum of natural history, the met and MOMA. My favorite was MOMA...they had a whole Dali display when we were there and it was amazing...they were showing parts of his movies and the art work that went with them. We went on to the top of the empire state building and saw the statue of liberty from battery park. We did a little shopping and went into Chinatown, Little Italy and Nolita. We went to the library there and they had a photograph display which was amazing too. We had our beer break about 3 o'clock every afternoon. We even found a beer garden in Battery Park. We went to a comedy club one night. We also saw Spam-a-lot and Young Frankenstein....both are so funny i can't even tell you! We even made it to central park and had a picnic (kind of) on our last afternoon there! Although earlier that week we got lost in central park and that wasn't fun! And we even got to see the Macy's fireworks from FDR...although it was raining on the 4th...it was still awesome!

But overall we had a great time and did about everything we wanted to do and more! :)
