for a new job...thats what i've been doing today : )

its been a pretty uneventful weekend...although it seems that i've been busy all weekend...

we won the soccer game last night and it was a really good game...we were down at the half and still won....

i saw a friend last tonight that i hadn't seen in a few months and it was really good to see him...i like it when you are still friends when you haven't been around each other in a while

i've been reading a lot...when i finish i will write a whole blog about it : )

i don't understand why people have to yell at people...and i really don't understand why adults have to yell at kids...it doesn't help them figure it out any faster it just makes you more upset...and usually when you yell at them they either think its funny or they block you out and don't hear a single word you are saying anyway....so just don't yell please...

i was wondering today if our generation will create a better or worse society when we are in charge...i'm leaning towards better....i think we are more tolerant than other generations...i believe we will continue learning past our college years...i believe we have grown up with so much change, that change when we are older won't be anything new to us and we won't be the older people today who can't break out of the old ways (nothing against old people : )....i was thinking about marriage and divorce and i wonder if the divorce rate will go down...it seems to me people are waiting longer to get married and that means they are waiting longer to find the person that they could spend the rest of their lifes with...and there are several people i know that know that they shouldn't get married because it just isn't for them...and we know how divorce hurts... : ) i do realize that there are several problems with our generation too...but i'm an optimist : )

i don't know why i've gotten on such a tangent.... : )

music and the seasons

as i was driving to work today...i was trying to find a cd that sounded good...something to fit the cold and i thought how funny it is that certain music sound better at certain times of the year...so i'm going to give you examples of what i mean..

This doesn't mean that i only listen to these people at these times of the year but it just sounds better to me then...i decided to spare you the entire list i made...i was at work and put all the music i could possibly think of in a catergory...only one, i felt, could make it in all of these categories and i think that just because i like radiohead so much...also because their cds are so different that i believe that there is a cd for each season...

you are right i have put too much thought into this.... : )

i've decided that sufjan stevens and beck also have certian albums that fit different seasons for me...take beck...i was listening to sea change today and it sounded great...but i just don't think it would sound as good if it were a bright sunny hot day...but maybe i'm wrong...

halloween

my siblings and i have come up with our halloween costumes and it going to be great...

i have made a special link to grandpa griffith pictures on the right...i will be updating this page to add more pictures even pictures from the past : ) there are pictures from the last few shows that have never seen...

i love fall and i'm very excited about the cool weather...it makes me happy and it makes me want to get things accomplished...maybe its when things change that makes me want to get things done...don't know...i feel for the first time in a while that i'm getting my life where i want it...i don't know how long this will last and there are still things that will change when the time is right...but for now things are looking good... : )

i think my difficult decision has turned out to be a good thing and everything is going to work out okay : )

saw serenity last night....it was awesome....i really hope that they don't end it like that, either that start the series again or another movie...it was so good that i'm ready to see it again : )



also saw the new goblet of fire trailer last night...oh my gosh, i'm so excited...i think i'm going to start the 4th book again....

one cup of rice

for most of us who have cooked even a little, we know that you measure cooking ingredients in a measuring cup....i was out tonight and pat called to ask me how to cook rice for stirfry...i told her she needed two cups water...one cup rice...i get home and there is a coffee cup full of rice : )...next time i will be more specific....

hum...sometimes the right thing to do in life is the hardest thing to do....
