not at work : )

If you were going to arrange an elliott smith song for string quartet what would it be?

What about a flaming lips song? what about "do you realize" (it could take me a while : )?

What about REM?

Elliott Smith-"I Didn't Understand" or "Baby Britain," both off of XO

I don't know enough Lips songs to feel qualified to answer that

REM-it's hard for me to hear them in my head in string arrangements, but maybe "Man on the Moon," or perhaps "Shiny Happy People."

i agree with mike on "man on the moon," though i'd love to hear you get "losing my religion" or "stand."

What's the Frequency Kenneth!... no, that wouldn't really work unless you guys are all amped in and can get the correct feedback reverb.

I think either Nightswimming or Everybody Hurts... most definitely Everybody Hurts

Elliott Smith - "Stupidity Tries"

Flaming Lips - "All We Have is Now"

R.E.M. - "Country Feedback"

I already told you "Who Can It Be Now" would be a great song...I just think the arrangement would be interesting.

But...then again...Banana Seat is probably covering it...

BUT not with strings. That's my point.

Umm... I don't know, but I felt left out... that song that's all... "at your most beautiful" or "at my most beautiful?" Hells bells... I don't know the words, but it already has a cello, so you are one step ahead.
